Different from the traditional plug-type SIM card, eSIM is an electronic SIM card that is written to the terminal through OTA download. The eSIM provides a better user experience than traditional SIM cards while improving terminal performance and expanding operators' access to the network. Eastcompeace has implemented an eSIM-based consumer IoT terminal access system.
The system is added with an eSIM platform network element in the operator’s IT system, with the reconstruction of other network elements and mobile business halls to support the eSIM functions.
